ABOUT JASI
JASI was an idea from Michael Wolliston. Having struggled for (too) many years learning German, he noted how so many evening language classes would be full at level 1, three-quarter full at level 2 and only half full by level three. Basically, people's enthusiasm would wane, as the course got harder and harder. On top of that, most story books, that learners are told are easy, were not! Michael also had no interest in reading about Politics, History or someone "trying to find themselves", he just wanted to enjoy a book about a husband coming home drunk and his wife has burnt the dinner !
Most of all he wanted to read stories, where he didn't have to use Google Translate, for at least one word in every sentence !
The website name "JASI " is simply a combination of the word "JA" in German, meaning "yes" and "SI" in Spanish as well as Italian, which also means "yes". Readers often pronounce the name as JAZZY but the correct pronunciation is "YAR-SEE. However, as long as you tell your friends and collegues about this website, we won't mind!

IN THE NEWS
INEW LAUNCH DATE
Just as we wer about to get some book covers done, we have the COVID virus pandemic.
This has pushed back our launch date, as we have to consolidate our funds.
REMAINING BREATHLESS
After much deliberating, our flagship Novelette will remain with the title "BREATHLESS"
This 38 page story, will be the first from Jasi, to go into print and will be available on launch in German, followed by end of July, in both Spanish and English.
All three languages will be available in both Ebook and print.. German Audio due mid July.
NO LOGO BUT WE HAVE A BRAND
Whilst a website friendly loo has not been finalised, It has been decided that the brand will be sillohette images in the book covers (see DIE RUCKZAHLEN)
